Another unannounced drop for Bandcamp Friday, this time a 4-tracker inspired by my formative experience coming up in the Chicago scene. Steeped in dance music history, the city is notoriously difficult to make a name for yourself in. I was never House enough to be House, and not close to being Techno enough to be Techno.

The Midwest is a battleground where those brave enough to endure its pressures throughout the years can come out of it as a true world-class talent. My time in the Windy City may be over, but the experience is embedded into everything I am.

Although admittedly the music contained in this release will not be everything a lover of Chicago House is looking for, listen deeply and I hope you will find the essence of the Midwest is there, alive and well.
